The New England Forestry Foundation (NEFF), one of the oldest environmental stewards in the US, struggled to communicate their mission and the value it provides to a wider, younger audience.
Agency 451 took the approach to fuse arboreal imagery with the concept of a human fingerprint. The result was a logo that symbolizes the important role humans can play in preserving one of New England most unique assets—its diverse wildlands. The re-invigorated branding was then extended through to a fully responsive website, detailed user personas, and customer journeys. We consolidated all printed publications into a single online resource called, “Into the Woods,” and made a premium version available printed on high quality, recyclable materials.
451 delivered a new website, logo, and branding strategy that was highly received by the members of the NEFF board of overseers. The new brand was modern, yet resonated with the history of NEFF.
