After a successful soft launch in Boston, Hello Mamas needed a strategic partner to help debut it’s unique and innovative service on the national stage.
Agency 451 executed a proactive media relations campaign to launch the Mom Meet Mom among national media who appeal to their target demographic: moms and millennial moms.
451 positioned the service as the first-to-market online forum leveraging sophisticated proprietary matching technology and crafted a compelling brand story surrounding the personal experiences of the brand’s three founders: three moms who struggled to find compatible moms who could share their experiences.
A national media list was gathered targeted to general interest, technology and mom-focused outlets across multiple channels – broadcast, digital and print. Media trained the Mom Meet Mom executives for on- and off-screen interviews. 451 established Mom Meet Mom’s thought leadership by pitching the results from a joint consumer survey conducted by Mom Meet Mom, dating website AYI.com and single mom lifestyle expert Kerri Zane.
Secured 265 media hits including Good Morning America, The Huffington Post, USA Today, Yahoo Shine, Pop Sugar, TechCrunch, Fox News, Daily Candy and Babble. Grew from 2,500 monthly visitors and 16,000 unique page views to more than 90,000 monthly visitors and more than 600,000 page views. Increased membership from 1,800 users to more than 35,000 in all 50 states.
