Born and raised in the Midwest, I ventured to sunny California to pursue my bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Spanish at the University of San Diego. In the fall of 2014, I traveled abroad to 16 countries and 18 cities on a life-changing program called Semester At Sea. The travel bug never quite left my soul and I decided to become an au pair in a small village in northern Spain where I immersed myself in an incredible family-oriented culture with amazing food and beautiful beaches.
I settled down in Boston in the summer of 2016, although my wanderlust still remains deep within me. Prior to Agency 451, I supported the public relations and social media efforts for a variety of real estate clients at McDermott Ventures. I also assisted in community outreach at Waterville Consulting, which paved my way to a deeper knowledge and appreciation of the people and places in Boston. Throughout college I spent my time interning at a variety of media-oriented companies such as NBC Montana and Star 94.1 in San Diego. Through these experiences, I gained a passion for understanding how media outlets play such a pivotal role in everyday life.
I am beyond excited to represent 451 as an Account Executive of Hospitality PR. The culinary world has always been of interest to me, especially after learning about and trying new food in so many different places around the world. I can’t imagine a better way of exploring this industry than expressing clients’ passion for this line of work. (Hopefully I will find my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the city, because I’m missing the tacos in San Diego on a daily basis!!)
Outside of the office you can find me running through the city, attempting to be a yogi, laughing through the entire Friends’ series with a bowl of ice cream in hand, and singing loudly at every country concert that comes to town!
