“The first time I drowned, I dreamed I was a sea turtle.”
That’s the opening line of my first novel. I haven’t written anything else yet, but it has a working title of “George.” It’s about a guy named Fred, and his passion for flight.
In the nearly 20 years I’ve spent procrastinating and not writing the rest of that page-turner, I’ve worked at agencies in NYC and Boston, including nearly 15 years between BBDO and Hill Holliday. My work has been recognized by the One Show, the Mercury Awards, Clio Sports, Hatch and my college roommate, Mals who raved, “Whatever.”
I’ve had the good fortune of collaborating with lots of amazing people and creating work for numerous great brands like Mountain Dew, MLB, GE, USGA, Motorola, Dunkin’ Donuts and Liberty Mutual to name a few. Highlights include getting yelled at by Julia Roberts, getting screamed at by Alec Baldwin, getting berated by Michael Bay, and running on a treadmill next to my body double, LL Cool J.
All in all, it’s been a lot of fun.
